How are pads different from liners?
Both our pads and liners feature edge-to-edge leakproof protection and a super comfortable wicking cotton top layer. The difference is in absorbency. Pads are for full on flow, with 4X the absorbency of the average disposable pad. Liners are thinner for light flow days, spotting or discharge.
How do I wear your pads?
Just snap the wings around your underwear with the tag facing down and bleed on (literally).
Do they work for heavy periods?
Yes, we developed our pads to hold up to heavy flow. Just make sure you choose a pad with adequate coverage, and change as needed!
How much fluid do your pads hold?
Thanks to our super-soaker absorbent core, our pads can hold up to 4X as much as the average disposable pad.
How often do I need to change my pad?
Our pads absorb 4 times as much as a comparable disposable pad. How often you change your pad depends on you!
On heavier days, you might find that you change your Aisle pad about half as often as you would expect to change a disposable pad, and on lighter days you might wear the same pad all day. It's really about personal preference and, as with most things, you'll figure out with experience what works best for you.
What if I need to change my pad while I'm out?
You can stash your used pads and a couple spares in our Carry Bag.
A toiletries bag works too.
How do I wash my pads?
It’s not that complicated - our pads were made to fit into your regular laundry routine. Just rinse in cool water, then wash and dry with your regular laundry. As with any garment, wash with like colors.
A few tips:
- Avoid bleach or fabric softener - they will decrease the performance and lifespan of your liners.
- Don’t leave your pads soaking in water - this can lead to bacterial growth and mold.
- Avoid frequent use of Hydrogen Peroxide and Oxygen bleach products - they might be great for removing blood stains but they’re also super harsh on natural fibers. Instead, try our Stain Eraser.
Where are your pads made?
We’ve been making our liners at the same locally-owned and operated, small factory for over 25 years, right here in Vancouver, BC.
Are your liners FDA compliant?
Our products have been registered with the FDA since 2001.
